Description:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer - ML Platform to join its Data Platform group in Bangalore. This team is responsible for managing and scaling their massive Data Lakehouse, processing over 200 PB of telemetry and correlated data used for threat analytics. The role will help design, build, and deploy the ML Experimentation Platform used for data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and serving. You will collaborate with data scientists, threat analysts, and engineering teams to scale machine learning pipelines and productionize models, with plans for generative AI use cases in attack path modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable ML platform for thousands of users with self-service experimentation pipelines.
• Modularize ML code into reusable components and establish best practices for model development and deployment.
• Use workflow orchestration tools for efficient execution of data and ML pipelines.
• Review and maintain code quality, advocating for software development best practices.
• Leverage cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, blob storage, and message queues.

Key Technical Skills:

Python (expert), Java/Scala (recommended), ML Platform tools (Jupyter, MLFlow, Ray, Vertex AI), Apache Spark/Flink, Data Lakehouse technologies (Iceberg desirable), Distributed computing and orchestration (Kubernetes, Airflow), Terraform and infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Containerization

Requirements:

• Strong distributed systems and data platform experience.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning pipelines and experimentation platforms.
• Experience with production ML deployment and cloud-native environments.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate cross-team.
